Ninety-nine percent

I went to the gym tonight. A little plyometrics, a little weight-lifting, and some practice on my volleyball serves. That’s the 99th “workout” since I started my little horse-and-carrot exercise. Tomorrow night is a shoe-in for #100, since I have a volleyball game.

So I should be getting myself an iPod on Friday. I’m stoked. Delayed gratification has its benefits.

This self-motivation exercise has been so successful that I’ve started thinking about what the next goal and reward should be. I’ve got more ideas for the goal so far. 10,000 sit ups? 1,000 jump serves? 3,000 bicep curls? 200 meals eaten at home?
