One Team Under Dog, the indoor volleyball team I play on, is going to the playoffs! Based on last week’s results (won two out of three with great teamwork and Indian food afterwards), we’ve locked in second place. This will certainly be our best season yet. It’s a bit ironic, since it coincides with the demise of the our company’s sponsorship of the team, and with layoffs of many of the players. We’ve got one game left this Thursday and then the playoffs begin next week.
